“If you hang out with chickens, you’re going to cluck and if you hang out with eagles, you’re going to fly.”
Two major updates I’d love to share in keeping myself accountable:
#1. I accomplished a major life-goal this year by teaching my first ever course at George Brown college. That’s not to say I’ve never taught before, but this is the first time I was allowed to lead a course based purely on the curriculum I deemed beneficial. It was a surreal learning experience for ME, and I look forward to returning to the class room in January 2019.
#2. There was one project on my 2018 to-do list that I made very little progress with: my blogging. I’ve decided that the conventional web interface found on adamrodricks.com no longer works for me, and even more scary, it doesn’t work for you. I’ll be actively looking to change this in the short-term to bring you a more visual and video-based experience, as well as content that suits those mediums.
One final update – many of you know I announced on the podcast that I wanted to help 50 people this year. I’ll be going through that list shortly after new year’s eve, and going through what I hope to accomplish in the coming year.
Accountability sure is something, but your constant support has meant everything. Thanks for reading.
